provide the best
possible educational experience for all students at Burroughs High School.
Our work is made possible through the generous contributions
of the community -
parents, alumni, teachers, business leaders, civic organizations - people
and
groups who recognize the lont-term benefits of support for Burroughs High
School.

is the B Mountain Foundation ?
The B Mountain Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization
which
supports the mission of Burroughs High School through awarding of grants.
The Foundation has as its main goal to help povide BHS students with the
best
educaton possible.
? Where does
the money go ?
Since 1991 over $70,000.00 has gone directly to student
learning experiences in
the classroom. Grants are awarded to teachers and support staff for curriculum
enhancing projects, supplies, field trips, multi media, and equipment.
? Why
does B Mountain do this ?
Without these grants students, teachers, and support staff
would have to bear
the costs out of their own pockets. These grants help ensure student success,
and help ensure the success for another graduating class at Burroughs
High
School.
? Who
is on the Board of Directors
?
The Foundation's board includes teachers, counselors,
staff members,
administrators, alumni and community leaders.

Money is only part of the solution, however - we also value your donation
of
materials, time, knowledge and creativity.
Over the years BHS students have benefitted greatly from
the much welcomed
support of the Foundation. We extend our thanks to these who have helped
us in
the past and look forward to introducing new members to the B Mountain
family.
