Burroughs Autism Awareness  The focus of BAA is to bring awareness and acceptance of our students with special needs We eat lunch together and then we play indoor or outdoor games depending on the weather. Friends of Rachel (FOR)  Philosophy of trying to change the world by one act of kindness after another is based on Rachel Scott's philosophy, the first person killed in the Columbine High School mass shooting.  The Friends of Rachel 's goal is to do good works in the community and in the larger world, and also to make Burroughs a kinder, nicer place. We do a variety of events on campus and in the larger community.  Rachel's Closet is an ongoing project to loan Prom and dance clothes to students free of charge. Cox

Interact Club Interact motto is: Service Above Self.  Interact strives to engage in monthly service activities that range from local on-campus activities, to local community and global international activities and support.  Interact works closely with the China Lake Chapter of Rotary. Key Club Key Club is a student-led, high school organization. Our members make the world a better place through service. In doing so, we grow as individuals and as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage and developing the heart to serve. Some of our typical projects each year include a food drive for Salvation Army, visiting a local nursing home, helping with a soup kitchen, providing volunteers for non-profit Christmas programs and meals, and collecting/sending off military care packages. We also participate in state-wide chapter events such as Fall Rally at Six Flags Magic Mountain.  Branson First and Third Tuesdays at lunch in K-1
 M.E.A.L.  Mercy Encountered At Lunch is a club where students can come during lunch and grab a slice of pizza. There is an atmosphere of grace and mercy as we enjoy food together, talk about our week, and share each other's company.  Vargas  Third Thursday in C11
 Pep Band Perform various community events and school events. Members must be enrolled in at least one music course. Pep Band meets Mondays after school and Tuesdays at lunch.
