Colorguard

The BHS Band's Colorguard is the visual element of the marching band. The Colorguard Advisor is Ashley Sczpiorski.

General information

Guard members audition in May. Once selected, planning the fall shows and training of members begins. BHS Band Camp is required/training two weeks before the first day of school.
Colorguard camp is August 10 (beginning at 7:00 a.m.) thru August 15. | [Need/want more? Do the Sharp camp! ]
Most members learn routines from studying videos of choreography (on their own). The advisor schedules practices (usually 2 afterschool practices) in addition to 2 early
6:30 a.m. band practices and the weekly
Wednesday night 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. practices.
$$$ Colorguard Fees $$$ Each member pays $150 for uniform [loan] and transportation. In addition, each member is required to have their own black dance shoes. The advisor provides sources for ordering uniform parts and accessories at the Colorguard Orientation.
