Drumline [hopefully] does the Nick Rail Clinic (likely to occur in August). Section leaders are expected$$ to do summer music camp study. Band Council will do both the May 16 Etiwanda Leadership Workshop and the August BHS Band Leadership Workshop in addition to music camps. Note, *out-of-state travel (like the November 21 - 24, 2008 WIBC Honor Band/Clinic in Seattle, Washington) requires school board approval.

This season, we enjoyed the Los Angeles County Fair, 1st place at the Cajon (San Bernardino) field tournament, several local community performances (including the parades, Grand Prix and Relay for Life).

UCLA Band Day was a blast! At the November 10 Stockdale (Bakersfield) field competition, we earned 3rd place Colorguard and 4th place Band trophies. Our score of 83.1 was 4th out of 15. Jazzers enjoyed the 2nd annual

USC Thornton Jazz Day (& hope to attend again next year). Our 2008 Solo/Ensemble Festival recaps are here. Our next big thing is the May 21 Spring Concert.
