Robotics Club – Interested in taking part in the award winning Robotics Club next year? Join us today at 3pm in Mr. Jacotin’s room, E-3 to find out more information. All are welcomed, no prior experience necessary. Engineering students are especially welcomed!

 

FCA – Come to Fellowship of Christian huddle today in M42 at lunch. Enjoy games and fellowship, pizza is also provided.

 

ASB Leadership Class – Remember to go to C-10 today at lunch to learn what it takes to become part of the BHS leadership class, ASB.

 

National Anthem – ASB is looking for someone to sing the national anthem and someone to perform at the black light rally. Performances can be dancing, singing, or any other talent. If you are interested in auditioning stop by C-10 to sign up.

Yearbook Applications – Time is running out! If you are interested in being a part of the yearbook staff, come pick up an application from K-3 as soon as possible. When you’ve finished your application, please turn it in to Ms. Allen in K-3.

DATA Scholarship – Hey there graduating Senior of Sierra Sands, the deadline for the DATA scholarship is quickly approaching. Applications are due the Thursday after spring break to Mrs. Rolfness in the Counseling Center.

Attention All Seniors – Spring break is the perfect time to work on your scholarship applications. Remember you do not have to attend a 4 year university to qualify. There are scholarships for those planning to attend community college and trade schools for careers such as law enforcement and cosmetology. Visit the Counseling Center located in the Front Office with Mrs. Rolfness before school, during lunch and after school where the applications are conveniently placed.

Lost & Found – Today is the last day the lost and found items will be in front of the Cafeteria. Please go through and see if you can find any lost items that may be yours. After today, they will be donated to the thrift store. For smaller items, please see Mrs. Charlon in the Front Office.

Fun Fact – The heart of a shrimp is located in its head.
