Graduation Traffic/Parking: Hello!  BHS administration is partnering with the Ridgecrest Police Department to help make parking and traffic during graduation go as smooth as possible.  Please see the message below:

“We would like to begin by extending our heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class of 2025. Our primary objective is to ensure that your graduation ceremony is both safe and enjoyable.

To all graduates, please arrive at the designated time, 5:45pm. Graduates, as well as guests with general admission, should enter through E. French Ave. (road that goes by the park) and turn east onto E. Drummond Ave. (turn right at the stoplight in front of Burroughs) to enter onto the BHS Campus. Once there, you will be guided to the main parking lot. Please follow the directions for parking provided by Ridgecrest Police Department and their staff. This measure is in place to guarantee your safety and the safety of others. When driving within the parking lot, exercise caution, adhere to the speed limit, and be mindful of your surroundings. Upon parking, please open your door carefully as there may be another vehicle parked adjacent to yours. When walking from your car, head north toward the campus to avoid pedestrian-vehicle conflict zones.

Dignitaries, special guests, and staff members should enter through the E. Drummond Ave. entrance (the road behind Stater Bros.) from N. China Lake Blvd and traffic will turn north (left) toward the main entrance. Please have your school IDs ready or identify yourself to the officer at the screening station. This entrance will also be accessible for individuals with disabilities or mobility issues. If you fall into this category, you will either need a vehicle with disabled license plates or present your hanging placard. Having these documents ready will expedite the entry process into the campus.

From 9 PM until approximately 11 PM, access to the campus will be restricted in preparation for the flow of exiting traffic. During this time, all roadways on campus will be designated as exit-only until the campus has been cleared. Please plan your activities accordingly.

If you notice anything that appears out of place or any suspicious activity, we urge you to speak up and inform the nearest uniformed officer or facility member. Your vigilance is greatly appreciated in maintaining a secure environment.”
