Facts on File
This database fills general study, research, and reference needs.  It consists of four interlinked modules, searchable jointly or independently. The Facts On File World News Digest offers students access to almost seven decades of news as well as current news events.  The Issues & Controversies On File explores more than 800 hot topics in business, politics, government, education, and popular culture. Today's Science On File bridges the gap between the science that students learn in the classroom and the discoveries pushing the boundaries of science today.  Also included is Bloom's Literary Reference Online, which examines great writers, important works, memorable characters, and influential movements and events in world literature.

Oxford Reference
Over 130 subject dictionaries, plus the World Encyclopedia, offer unrivalled coverage of everything from art to accountancy, politics to physics, and computing to classics .  Over 900,000 entries across 25 subjects, including an expanding range of Oxford Companions, and the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.  More than 6,000 illustrations, plus 500 full-color maps.

This database offers country profiles from around the world and includes, flags, reference maps, national anthems, and cultural, economic, and historical information about each country.

NetTrekker
NetTrekker allows students to search the Internet within a database of pre-approved sites.  You can connect to over 300,000 of the best online resources, aligned with state standards and organized by readability and grade level.  Each resource is carefully selected by educators and librarians to ensure it is safe, age-appropriate and academically relevant.

Ebsco
This database offers a complete collection of full-text reference resources.  You can search for magazine and newspaper articles, radio and television news transcripts, biographies, country and state reports, and primary source documents.   This database offers information that covers all subject areas, so it's a great resource for any class.

NoodleTools helps you construct your Works Cited in MLA style.  Not sure how to cite a web page or an image?  NoodleTools can help you cite all kinds of different resources!  You can also take notes and save them on note cards. It's a great resource to help you avoid plagiarism as well.  Remember, always cite your sources!  Your NoodleTools username is the same as your Edline username.  See a librarian for your initial password.
